Tower Head End Repertoire

Reformer with Tower is the smartest choice, because you have 3 machines in one (Reformer, Mat Station and Tower). 95% of the Cadillac ‘s full repertoire can be executed on this versatile machine (Reformer with Tower).

The Tower is a vertical unit that uses a variety of attachments

  • Push through bar
  • Push through springs (from below with cover)
  • Push through springs (from above)
  • Safety chain (short length for legwork-long length for arm work)
  • Roll down bar με Roll down springs / arm springs
  • Loops (or Double loops/Y-Loops, Velcro loops, Foam grip handles/neoprene handles) με arm springs
  • Safety links
  • Snap clips
  • Double end clips

There is a multitude of springs on it. They can be used to further challenge or give support. The exercise repertoire meets the functional needs of the advanced as well as the beginner Pilates trainees. The springs and resistance can be adjusted for height, weight, and strength of the trainee. Even if the training targets to legs, arms, glutes or any part of your body, the body core will be engaged. It is a total body workout. Emphasis is given to safety rules due to variety of attachments.

Why should someone attend a Tower Certification?

  • Pilates Tower offers a total body strengthening workout engaging the core/center without stress on the joints.
  • The springs, the resistance and the rest of the attachments can be adjusted to everyone’s somatometric measurements.
  • After a Tower class the trainee feels lighter, taller and flexible.
  • A Tower class is a full body workout that helps the trainee improve his body awareness and get familiar with the exercises (in order to reduce the risk of injuries).

Tower-Mat Station Repertoire

The repertoire includes exercises executed with:

– Roll-Down Bar
– Push Through Bar – springs from above
– Push Through Bar-Springs from below
– Leg Springs
– Arm Springs

Seminar duration

Reformer Tower Head End Repertoire: 4 - 6 hours
Reformer Tower Mat Station Repertoire: 18 hours

Training material

The student receives a folder with informative material, pen, block and manual with photos.

Seminar requirements

Mat Level I or Level II Certification or Reformer (Studio I)

After education requirements

10 observation hours
10 hours of personal practice
10 hours of teaching

Exams & Certification

 

The exams include: a written test, a practical test and a task. In order to get ready for the exams, you have to fill the “After Education” card and sent it to info@athenstrainers.gr. Soon after the exams success you will receive the AthensTrainers® Ultimate Pilates System Pilates Tower  Certificate of Attendance. Automatically student’s names are listed on our website as a Pilates Teacher / Instructor capable of teaching Pilates Tower.

In case of exam failure, the student has the right to reexamined 3 times within three months. Each time costs 20 euros.

Logo

 

Along with the Certificate of Attendance, the Pilates Teacher/Instructor receives an e-mail with the AthensTrainers® Ultimate Pilates System® logo. The logo can be used to describe a lesson at the gym that works or owns, or in promotional t-shirts, rollups, or banners that accompany his/her Pilates lessons.
